Viña Santurnia Rosado 2016 wine is made from Viura 85% and Garnacha Tinta 15%, from Bodegas Ramón y Ayala in Rioja. The winery is located in the town of Briñas, between Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. This is the fifth generation following the tradition of the family, now is Ramon and Gonzalo (nephew) the ones who look after the vines and the winemaking process.
The grapes are destemmed and put in the tanks where the cold maceration takes place for 48 hours, follow by pressing the grapes to obtain the most. Alcoholic fermentation starts in stainless steel of 25000 L for 25 days with control temperature at 14-16 C. Production 5000 bottles. Packaging x12 bottles.
TASTING NOTES
Notes of strawberries, watermelon and red currant. In the mouth fresh, rounded and very well balanced.
