Iberiandrinks is focused on importing artisan wines, from family run producers and vignerons, since 2010. Wines are sourced and mainly imported from Spain and Portugal. The team, Bea and Diego we are very into Organic, Biodynamic and Natural wines. We are also learning and working together with some of the winemakers, involved in their project and launching new wines with them.
MEET THE TEAM
Diego was born and raised in Vigo, Galicia. He studied International trade before coming to London. First experience with Hospitality was at the age of 21 and worked at restaurants in Galicia and London. He discovered the organic food after his youngest sister founded a small company, growing organic vegetables in 2008. He set up Iberiandrinks in 2010, importing and wholesale of wines, food and spirits. Qualified in Level 3 WSET in 2015. Nowadays he is learning about Artisan wines from the producers, especially from Iberian Peninsula.
Buyer & Sales
Bea has always been involved in hospitality. Her parents owned a Restaurant in Barcelona since she was born. After finished her degree in Photography and TV, While she was studying Films and Documentaries in London, she started working at the Eyre Brothers Restaurant. Her role as wine buyer and sommelier boosted her in the wine industry. In 2015, once qualified in Level 3 WSET and wide knowledge in Spanish and Portuguese wines, she joined Iberian Drinks. She is in charge of buying the wines for the company and has given to the portfolio an introduction of biodynamic and natural wines.
