Bodegas Carballal and Iberiandrinks will take part in “The Great Northern Albariño Showcase¨ in Leeds next Tuesday 13th June 2017 from 11am to 5pm.

Iberiandrinks will show 3 wines from the amazing Bodegas Carballal
Bodegas Carballal is located in a historical sub-zone of O Salnés – North of Rias Baixas. Winemaker Juan Carlos Vázquez follows an environmentally respectful ethos seeking to preserve healthy grapes . The founder, Benito Vázquez, planted the Albariño old vines in the ‘Carballal ‘vineyard. They also grow grapes in the second state called ‘A Granxa’. The winemaking process involves the use of indigenous yeast, lees stirring and the malolactic fermentation.
The showcase will have a superlative line-up of Albariño from around 20 wineries available to taste.
Held in the effortlessly elegant main dining room of Ibérica Leeds.
Guests are invited to drop in anytime between 11am and 5pm.
Specially designed tapas from the Ibérica kitchen will be served to complement these Atlantic coast wines.
Pop up ‘speed-tutorial’ at 12.15 and 14.15 in the main dining room.
