Serradinha Castelao is a red wine made 100% of Castelao grape from Quinta da Serradinha, located north Lisboa, town of Leiria. Vines planted between 1956 – 1996. Hand harvest, grapes are de-stemmed into open vats. Fermetation starts spontaneous with indigenous yeast and no control of temperature, big barrels of 6 hl and 14 hl and aged for 10 months. No filtration, no clarification and a bit of sulphites before bottling. Production of 2300 bottles.
