Product Description
Serradinha Branco is a white wine blend of the local varieties Encruzado 85% and Arinto 35% from Quinta da Serradinha, located north Lisboa, town of Leiria. Vines planted in 1995. Hand harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed into an open tank and macerated for four days. Then followed by a soft pressing in a pneumatic press and then left in small old barrels where the fermentation start with the indigenous yeast and no control of the temperature. Aged in the same barrel with its lees for 11 months. No filtration no clarification, a bit of sulphites before bottled. Production of 900 bottles.
