Product Description

Orange Tardana is an orange wine blend of 95% Tardana and 5% Moscatel grape. Tardana is a local variety from the area Utiel-Requena, harvested late, normally pick mid/late October. The soil is a mix of chalk and Calcareous. There are not many vineyards of Tardana grape left. The 70 years old bush vines are planted in Paraje Valderrama, Juan’s grandfather planted in 1967. The size of the vineyard is half hectare, yields of 2 Kgs per vine. Vinification naturally with no additives. Fermented with skins for 25 days in very old amphorae of 300&700 litres, recovered from old wineries, one belongs to his grandfather. Unfiltered and unfined, no sulphites added. Production of 2500 bottles.
