Quinta de Val da Figueira Reserva is a red wine from Douro, in Pinhao – Alto Douro -. Small winery that produces this red wine Reserva and a Tawny 10 years old. Blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barraco, Tinta Roriz and others local varieties. Made in the traditional way, foot trodden in stone “lagares”, aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Unfiltered. All grapes are grown on the estate, vines are over 40 years old. Notes of fresh ripe red berries. Full bodied, rounded tannins, long and complex finish. Production 5000 bottles. Ripe dark fruits, chocolate and cedar. Fine wine to share with friends and match with food.
