Product Description
Lero Lero red it is made by Joao Tavares in Dao region, Portugal. Grapes are 95% Jaen (Spanish version of Mencia) and 5% rufete. Vineyards were planted by Joao aiming at the recovery of the native grape varieties. The soil is granite, schist, and clay. Despite not certified, he farms organic using local plants to avoid diseases and protecting the vines. At the winery, the selected hand harvested grapes enter by gravity and coferment spontaneously with native yeasts, in inox tanks. The sking contact it takes just 3 days and on lees for 9 months. Tasting notes: This wine is meant to be light but with very good structure and wild fruits. Very fresh and ideal to be served chilled. Production 3000 bottles
