Hontza is the first wine that Iker made within his new project. Blend of Tempranillo 60% and Garnacha Tinta 40%, from 30 years old vines. Hand harvest and selection of the grapes in the winery. Organic viticulture and following some biodyamic method. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast, fermented and aged in french old barrels of 500L and tinajas – amphorae- 1600L. Unfiltered no clarified, no added sulphites. Production of 4500 bottles. Generous and dark fruits. Very complex but fresh aftertaste.
