The name given to Flores (flowers) is in allusion to its fruity driven character. The organic grapes are selected in the 6 vineyards they come from plus another table selection at the winery. The clayey soils at high altitude in the Ribera del Duero Area of Sotillo de la Ribera, between 830-850 metres, provides a singular complexity yet freshness. The hand harvest was picked in cases. Fermentation with native yeasts, and after a fortnight with skin contact, it was matured just 2 months in French oak and then in stainless steel. It is a very approachable Ribera del Duero to be introduced to this wine style. Full bodied with wild forest berries flavours and long finish.
