La Zarcita 2014 vintage is a blend of varieties well adapted to our climate, grown in La Zarcita plot with mainly chalky soils and different vines orientations, each one harvested at their optimum maturity, bringing the character to this unique wine.
Aged for 8 months in 500 liters second use French oak. Ripe red and blue fruits, spicy and mineral notes, well balanced and integrated oak. Very expressive and long with a pleasant finish.
Palacio Quemado becomes in January 2015 part of GPE, an association of Spanish wine producers dedicated to upholding and promoting very high quality single estate wine and all that is entailed in its production.
Wines that faithfully reflect the soils, subsoils and climate, each offering an unmistakable personality that can only be drawn from a specific terroir. In Palacio Quemado since 2013 no pesticides are used, only small doses of sulphur and copper, as well as natural plants such as sage, wormwood and cinnamon.
